Modifying Phantom steering box lubrication compared to the old Silver Ghost model.

X8430 X8980 The designers at 'CamachaHenry Royce's office in West Wittering' have discussed the steering on the lines that perfect lubrication of the present Phantom oil retaining box may modify the steering, compared with the old Silver Ghost boxes, in such a way that it would be worth while making an investigation as to whether the Phantom box, (the one with the smaller worm) if sparingly lubricated, namely, the box drained of oil, would give any different results as far as variation in reversibility is concerned, compared with the box in which the worm was submerged in oil.
