Dynamo is intended to be combined and driven with fan (see ample room in 4" engine (marine) ). 2. Can lighting be done with equal success with 4 volts - I think not. 3. Let Ellis try a coil with fine primary wire and small well-annulated condenser; Twice no. 8 times. 1/4 sectional area. 1/4 no. of plates on condenser. suitable for 8 volts. 4. Try to purchase a coil for 8 volts. X245 5. Failing 3 & 4 use my idea of ratchet switch and 3 wires instead of two from battery, every time the cells are switched on for charging the ignition is changed to the other pair of cells or modification of this may be possible and my other extra wire needed from cells.
