1280 To Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}5/MH.{M. Huckerby}2.3.40. RADIATOR MOUNTING. It appears that our radiator mountings are far from rationalised. We should be glad if you would go over the schemes that are at present in existence and let us have your views in the form of a memo, as to the scheme we should standardise. We will then arrange a discussion with the people concerned at Derby so that the matter can be finalised. We understand that the single point mounting on 11.B. is a final scheme and the testers complain that it takes an hour to get 2 nuts on the studs. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
