17941 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}21/KW.23.10.34. 28-EX. Front Axle Control. We have had considerable wear of the spindle P.82809 and in the bush P.82406. To overcome this we propose to try out the spindle case hardened on the bearing surfaces and increase the Bijur oil supply from Z.T.O to Z.T.2. To prevent an air lock in the bush we should like a groove .0625" deep and .0625" wide along the top of the spindle at the bearing end, and carried up the shoulder. Will you please make up a set for 28-EX, using the existing brackets. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
