| 261 a.{Mr Adams} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 7th January, 1938. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Summers, Esq., Messrs. John Summers & Sons Ltd., Hawarden Bridge Steel Works, SHOTTON, CHESTER. Dear Dick, I see you have had a run on the P.III. I am sorry you feel that you cannot afford a P.III, I thought the Steel trade had been having a pretty good time lately. I am not surprised that you found the Demonstration car too big for you, however, with a light body, the car has enormous advantages for Continental touring. You will find the Bentley a better size for English conditions. Yours sincerely, | ||
