Dear Staniland,

Many thanks for your letter of the 9th.

Glad your brakes are giving you satis-
faction. The harder you work them the better we shall
like it. We should like to have a look at the lining
when you have covered 10,000 miles.

I am going to America next week for a
couple of months, and shall hope to see you on my return.
