YOUR REF Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 10th February, 1937. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., (Experimental Department), Derby. Dear Sirs, For the attention of W.A.Rowbotham,Esq. In Mr. Howlett's absence I beg to thank you for your letter of the 9th inst., and would advise you that Mr. Howlett and his chauffeur are both away from Lymington, and not expected back until the end of the week. I think, therefore, it will be better to delay the return of the Bentley as you suggest, until Mr. Howlett returns, as I do not feel confident of giving instructions for this car to be driven to Derby by any other of our drivers without Mr. Howlett's express permission. Yours faithfully, b. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Richards. Secretary to J.W.Howlett. | ||
