M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Wilks, Esq.,
The Rover Motor Co.Ltd.,
COVENTRY.

Dear Wilks,

With reference to our telephone conversation to-day re the plating of our cylinder block. I find that we have another spare block of the same dimensions; therefore you can keep the one you have until you have carried out the work. We would point out, however, that the extended test which we are proposing to carry out in the immediate future will start at the end of next week, and therefore if the block is not to hand an excellent opportunity of obtaining a figure of merit for it will be lost.

With regard to the tappets, we shall be glad to have further news of these.

Yours sincerely,
