I have attempted to get an estimate of the cost of changing the above cars in this way but find that it is quite impossible to estimate it, as by far the greater part of the expense is due to travelling; the actual cost of changing the bushes is small.

This matter appears to be of the greatest importance as this morning we have received another broken rear spring link from Mortimer Singers chassis No. 1711. This was fitted with a fibre bush and is the second breakage on this chassis.

Mr Wormald advises me that 23 chassis have already been corrected in our Repair Shop.
