DISTINGUISHING MARK ON S.2 SALOONS

With reference to the notes on this subject, my own experience in regard to the reasons for Owners wishing to have some distinguishing mark on the car coincides with VS{J. Vickers} 4/AR 16 3 60, which is that the Owner is more likely to want to demonstrate his ownership of an S.2 car by having the symbol visible from the rear view.
