We have taken this opportunity of adding a note to the detail of the ring RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}458, requesting that it be made from a small section rolled or drawn, bar bent into a circle, and not parted off a large diameter bar. This is to ensure that the grain flow in the ring material will be correct.
