PETROL FILLER CAP. 20-HP CHASSIS. We give below extract of memo we have received from India:- "I find that the dust gets in under the petrol filler cap and that after a long run the inside of the filler is covered with a thick layer of dust. Please inform Derby." You will remember that I previously pointed out that it was possible for dust, dirt etc. to get inside the petrol filler cap, but as no trouble has been experienced in this direction on the 10,000 mile test, and has not evinced itself during our production tests, I have not pressed this point. I shall be glad, however, if in view of India's report you can give the matter consideration. EP. {G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} | ||
