X.6009. CELLULOSE LACQUERED CAMBRIC COVERED MACONITE H.T. CABLE.

Will you please order a further quantity of the above type of cable sufficient for two Phantom II chassis (battery and magneto wires) but with the improvements in regard to the lacquering which the Macintosh Co. have realised for us on cable of this type supplied in connection with aero engines. We are anxious to make it clear that we do not want the intermediate wrapping of unlacquered tape, and also that the finished diameter should be slightly less than in the previous instance, i.e. it should not exceed 7 mm. owing to there having been some little difficulty in getting this cable through our wiring tubes.

The cable previously received was fitted to experimental cars but has not been altogether satisfactory superficially, and we propose to go one better in this direction.
