(20) For the driver's seat a) is measured at floor level or at the bottom of the wells if required from a point plumb with the pedal in its rearmost idle position. For the passenger's seat, a) is measured at a distance 20 centimetres above the level of the flooring or of the bottom of the well between the two extreme points at front and rear of the space free at this height. In the case of movable seats it is forbidden to modify the position of any seat while measurements are being taken. a') Measured horizontally under the same conditions as a), this dimension being measured from a point plumb with the front of the rear cushion to a point plumb with the back-rest of the front seat. b) Measured vertically. c) Measured horizontally, parallel with the longitudinal axis of the chassis and in the middle of each seat for the bucket shape. d) Measured vertically with the 10 kilogram rectangular gauge on the cushion. Minimum dimensions : a) and a') : 20 cm; b) 15 cm; c) 40 cm; d) 40 cm. The bodies should be designed so that : a + b + c = 1.10 metres minimum In the case of a body with a dickey, the back may be folded down during the race and form a cover for the rear seats. The unoccupied seats may be covered with a removable cover, rigid or flexible. When cars include tanks inside the bodywork, said tanks must be concealed and not detract from the appearance of the car. The fitting of said installations must be faultless.
