(I9) previously placed horizontally on the edge of said seat. This gauge is 30 centimetres in the direction of the width of the seat and 20 centimetres in the direction of the depth. Bodies must be completely finished and free from any units of a provisional nature. They must provide two seats with a total width of 85 centimetres (33.46") and a minimum of 40 centimetres (15.75") per seat. This dimension is to be measured in a vertical plane tangent to the rear of the steering wheel and perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle; it must be adhered to along a minimum height of 0.25. The transmission units (shaft and universal joints) must pass below the flooring or inside cages or tunnels. The flooring, cages or tunnels must show no signs that they are of a temporary nature but must be properly interconnected and suitably anchored to the body or chassis. The front seats must correspond with the conditions set out hereinbelow. The rear seats are optional but, if they exist, they must fulfil the same conditions as the front seats. In addition, there must be a space of a least 0.20 measured horizontally and parallel with the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, commencing from the foremost point of the rear cushion up to the rear of the front seat backrest. The minimum width for accommodating the feet (for each person) must de 0.25 measured perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the chassis, plumb with the pedals. The front and rear seats must be of the following minimum dimensions : Total width which must be available, minimum 85 centimètres. Width for leg and foot room (for each seat), 25 centimètres. Dimensions a, a', b, c, d, shown on the above sketches must fulfil certain conditions. These dimensions are determined as follows : a) Is always measured horizontally and parallel with the longitudinal axis of the chassis. ... | ||
