X206 To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/AFM.{Anthony F. Martindale}8/KW.26.6.36. Girling Brakes - Bentley. We shall be receiving shortly a pair of axles from New-Hudson Ltd. fitted with Girling brakes. These brakes have been designed for use with Ex. aluminium drums. Will you please build up the 2 remaining rear cases to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2205 into complete drums for this car. Liners to be Millenite with .026" to .030" interference fit. Fixing devices to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}82. Will you please make 2 new front drums to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}55, with Millenite liners shrunk in with .026" to .030" interferences, as before. The material for these drums should be RR.53c, and 2 spare cases should be made and handed to Hl., Laboratory, for tests. The drums should be soaked for 6 hours at 190-200°C.
