3½ litre Bentley Exhaust Cutout.
Replying to your memo Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}15/T.2.8.33, we have had no complaints from the Experimental Department regarding the three points you raise, nevertheless we agree that some modification is desirable, and we are issuing drawings shewing the necessary alterations, to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer}
Regarding your point No.3. the split pin was always used before on the joint pin securing the cutout valve, but we think it would be better to replace it by a rivetted up job.
E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
