Dear Sirs,

We have your letter of the 11th of February, addressed to our London Office, before us and regret that the modifications suggested by our Mr. Dalmaine have not served much useful purpose. It would seem that the cause of these discrepancies in friction values are rather more obscure than we originally imagined, and we are giving the matter earnest consideration. It will probably be a few days before we have arrived at any definite conclusions, but we will get into touch with you immediately we have any concrete results.

Yours faithfully,

For BRITISH BELTING & ASBESTOS Ltd.
