Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Std.8/KW.24.8.36.

We send you herewith Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}199 which shows a water outlet at the front of the Ph.III cylinder head, the horizontal top rail and its outlet being deleted.

This scheme has been drawn in conjunction with a lightened radiator for Ph.III, of which we will send you drawings shortly. However, we wish to test out on the test bed the effect of these outlets on the water circulation. Will you therefore please detail these outlets and fit a pair to the Ph.III engine which Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} will indicate to you. The flanges which communicate with the top water rail should of course be blanked off.

Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/C.S.Steadman.
