Please receive herewith:- LeC.5561 which shows the oil pump and the front end of the sump, the oil suction pipe from the strainer, and the external oil fittings. It will be noticed on the designs of this engine that we have the possibility of two engine mountings so that if the high engine mounting is a disappointment we can revert to the Wraith II mounting, so for the time being the engine arms on the crankcase will be left in position. Also herewith LeC.5566 rocker oil supply connection via the cylinder block. The reason for making this connection in the block is to reduce the length of external piping to a minimum. The cylinder head is unaltered. E/JNR.{Charles L. Jenner} LeC.5561.) LeC.5566.) herewith. Handwritten left side: LeC HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} | ||
