Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} MAR 17 1921 RECEIVED RE GOSHAWK II - FRAMES & FITTINGS. -------------------------------- With reference to the proposal for avoiding the staved tube for the rear cross member shewn on your L.F.75, would you please note that Mr Royce approves of this modification and only desires that the arrangement shall be altered as shewn on "N" Scheme 799 - 3 prints herewith. The alteration consists in extending the liner towards the centre of the car so as to make a tapered-off end to the sleeve, and replacing the 1/4 and 5/16 pins by two 1/4 pins going right across. These pins will be slightly riveted over at the small end.
