RE 'GOSHAWK II'.
RE NO.2 FRAME REAR CROSS MEMBER AND SPARE WHEEL POSITION.

On drawings Lec.1369, 1376, and 1378 the second cross member from the rear end of car has been shown in a position 7" back from the centre line of the rear axle. Would you kindly note we shall possibly require this to be 9" back with a corresponding shortening of the sheetmetal piece anchoring the centre of the petrol tank.

The position of the spare wheel is being re-considered at the moment with a view to getting more clearance for a folded cape-cart hood, or landaulet, or cabriolet top. The spare wheel is now being leaned backwards at about 10 degrees, but is still carried within the frame. We will send you further information when this position has been approved by the people responsible for the coachwork.
