Dear Devereux,

Thank you very much for the report on your visit to Germany which I shall read with the greatest interest.

I should be glad if you would let me know what arrangements you have made with regard to bearings in France, because, at the moment, I feel that we shall let somebody else collar the market unless we have an energetic person over there to follow up the work.
