Your Ref Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/R.{Sir Henry Royce} [STAMP: Wn 19 JAN 1939] 18th January, 1939. W.A.Robotham, Esq., Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd. D E R B Y. [STAMP: RECEIVED] [Handwritten initials: Nm] My dear Robotham, I have yours of the 14th inst., and we have made licence arrangements for all our materials with the Societe des Alliages Legers a Haute Resistance in France, but there will be no difficulty in arranging sub-licence for other people through them, in a similar way to that in which we deal with it in this country. I do want to get the arrangements in this country finalised before I start selling in France. Actually in France I feel there is not much use for material until it is able to be used with a soft shaft, but I understand you are still carrying out tests in this manner. Yours sincerely, W.C.Devereux W.C.Devereux. DICTATED, BUT NOT SIGNED BY MR. DEVEREUX. | ||
