re Dunlop Wire Wheels - Fixing of Sliding Barrel.

23.1.14. JR{Mr James Royce}6/B23114.

The Dunlop people wish to use a ring of square section in securing the sliding barrel of present type wheels. A similar ring has always been used in the old pattern D.4 type.

Up to the present we have received a satisfactory report from you as far as the Works are concerned, and also from Mr Platford.

Will you now let me know what the Experimental Department think of the square ring, which would [handwritten insertion] be fitted in the Austrian Trials cars.
