Copy to A.W. X 832. ROY {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} /SS {S. Smith} /P. 13th June, 1932. Messrs. T.B.Andre & Co.Ltd., Victoria Gardens, Ladbroke Road, Notting Hill Gate, LONDON, W.11. Your Ref:- WLH/CO. Dear Sirs, In reply to yours of 8th inst. with reference to the Telecontrol Shock Absorbers you are supplying to the above-mentioned order. We are sorry to note you have had to refit all the cables to the previous shock absorbers fitted to our chassis by the coachbuilders. We agree that in future it would be better for you to undertake the fitting of the cables, and are arranging with our Cricklewood Works accordingly. We note that this method of shock absorbing is superseded by the hydro Telecontrol type. At the moment we regret we are not in a position to standardise this type, and it will therefore be necessary for you from time to time to meet our requirements with the old type. Probably you will make arrangements for one set to be made kept in stock against our requirements and when this is absorbed put in hand a further set to remain in your stores against our future orders. Yours faithfully, For and on behalf of ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. Buyer. | ||
