| 1020a EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Twdl.14/JH. 24th August, 1938. Mr. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Howlett, Messrs. Wellworthy Ltd., Lymington, Hants. Dear Sirs, We enclose herewith an order for centre bearings from E.R.A. Ltd. which we received today. Before you started to produce the aluminium tin bearings we supplied several to the E.R.A. people and obviously they have sent the order to us, not knowing that you are now the producers of these bearings. We originally supplied bearings to them in the roughly machined size and they did the final machining however you will no doubt get into touch with them as soon as possible to make your own arrangements.
