24th August, 1938. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Howlett, Esq., Wellworthy Piston Rings Ltd., Lymington, HANTS: Dear Mr. Howlett, Many thanks for your letter of August 22nd. I am most interested to hear about the Bristol fully-floating bush. When your Representative is next going to De Havilland's I should like to come down myself if this could be arranged, because their application is so very similar to that of our own P.III, and I am sure that we can give them some information re methods of lubrication, etc. which would help to ensure the success of the bearings in their unit. Yours sincerely, | ||
