| -4- 110-B Front Hubs. Drums in R.R. cast iron - general condition good. 6 - 5/16.holes had been drilled in rib of near side drum and a 1/2 nut and bolt added for balancing drum. General condition good. Cross Steering Tube. G.83416 Outer Spring - 1 broken. Ball pins shews signs of fouling in the neck against the socket. On dismantling the inner ends of the cross steering tubes were found to contain a quantity of water. Ball pads - general condition good. Fulcrum pin G.83614 for centre steering lever slightly indented by needle rollers. Lower housing G.81936 quantity of road collections collected around the lower housing and adjacent parts were rusty. Oil Seal in lower housing - good. Spring Suspension. Near side - slight end play has developed on fulcrum pin G.84174. One needle roller G.81604 broken in Fulcrum Pin Bearing. High pressure valve F.85592 scored on .312 dia. No locking wire had been fitted through plugs for replenishment valves. All other parts O.K. Off-side-No.15028 Oil Seal damaged in Upper triangle lever. High pressure valve F.85592 scored on .312 dia. 1-plug G.83736 for replenishing valve had worked out and damaged adjacent parts, due to no locking wire having been fitted.
