- 7 - (9) CONTACT WITH WORKS. It was decided that these meetings should be quarterly. (10) WORK ON OUT-OF-DATE MODELS. It was decided that Br, Pk, and Mr.Clarke, should come to W. more often, also that Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} should visit N. and K.{Mr Kilner} frequently, at least once between these quarterly meetings. (11) STOCK AND MATERIAL. Difficulties in connection with the ordering and supplying of material were discussed, and although it was pointed out that in certain cases Works were behindhand in delivery, the hope was expressed that outside departments would be able to foresee further ahead what material would be likely to be required. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} reminded the meeting that material had to be ordered and obtained as well as manufactured. It was agreed that K.{Mr Kilner} will order material on a 3-months' basis in future as do the other Depots - this for ordinary consumable parts. (12) TABULATING COMPLAINTS. After considerable discussion as to the best method of reporting to W. the information in connection with complaints, and the statistics which are such a good guide to the extent of each trouble, it was decided for the present to use the weekly budget prepared by C. which includes memos from N. and K.{Mr Kilner} but at the same time that the present Quarterly Complaint List should continue.
