Dear Sirs, We wish to confirm telephone conversation of this afternoon when you advised that you would be passing orders for 250 10" clutches and 150 11" clutches, furthermore that these assemblies are required to be fitted with driven plates having Thermoid facings. Accordingly we have immediately cabled for both sizes of facings, taking into consideration percentage which will be required to take care of scrap due to the brittleness of material. It is understood that you have not so far decided to modify quantity of 150 of each size plates which you have in stock, and we await your further advice in this connection before passing order to our American friends for facing material. With regard to Service orders, it is understood that there are 16 11" plates only outstanding, and our Service Department have been instructed to hold this order pending the arrival of Thermoid facings so that same may be fitted.
