Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems} (Chateauroux) W/P - Sr/VA. 300a? Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry{Shadwell Grylls}3/R.12.8.37. 6 SETS OF HIGH PRESSURE PETROL PUMPS TAKEN TO FRANCE. Owing to the obvious difficulty of sweating in position the cut ends of the pipe in order to insert the T. piece leading to the high pressure pump, the Works have made 6 T. pieces for olive joints. These are being despatched to Paris to-day by Air Mail. They should greatly facilitate the fitting of high pressure pump on a bodied chassis. You will notice, however, that the pipe to the leg of the small T. you took out with you will have to be cut off and made suitable for an olive joint. On receiving this memo will you please communicate with Paris to confirm that this latter method should be used on customers' cars. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
