CUSTOMER'S FAULTY DYNAMO HC.15.
EX CHASSIS 119.LC.

This machine was found to have the solder melted and thrown from the commutator connections, but otherwise appeared to be alright.

The insulation of the machine was O.K. and the brushes were well bedded and quite free in their holders, but the commutator was blackened.

The machine is one of the early type with a control brush angle of 120º and it is most likely that overheating and melting of the solder was due to this C angle.

The machine is handed herewith to EY.

EFC.
