Re Silencing System on No.2c. Bed.- Bentley S/C Unit.

Having run severeal tests on the silencing system at present in use on the above bed, we find that it is subject to rather severe periods and is very upsetting to results. This necessitates an excessive amount of open exhaust running which is objectionable to ourselves and everybody else.

We should be glad therefore if you could change the present silencer for the large one on the corner of No.4 test bed which was previously used on the Bentley unit and which we have proved to be very good. indeed. WD{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/CHP. has no further use for this, and has agreed to let us have it.
