Confirming an order for a pair of front springs with specified modifications regarding camber and deflection.

In your Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /RM {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} 1/LG8.4.26, you have requested us to order a pair of Front Springs, 1250 lbs/43½" centres of eyes, type F.71975, but with the following modifications:-

Initial camber 4.65" positive.
Deflection under 1250 lbs load. 4.65"
Normal camber. Flat.
Maximum Bump. 2.25 negative camber.

We have duly ordered the Springs, and attach hereto a letter received this morning from Messrs. Thos.Firth & Sons Ltd. We shall be glad to have your comments on same, so that we may telephone to Messrs. Firth.
