Purpose: Ball located lower to prevent formation of carbon. Pipes separated to prevent distortion of float-chamber lid.{A. J. Lidsey}
Brief Report and Remarks:
Full bore flooding :- Floatchamber drain 124 pts/hr. Manifold ball drain 12 pts/hr.

Tests are being carried out in an effort to delete the lamp post breather on the floatchamber lid.{A. J. Lidsey}

Production Position and Comments:
Petrol Drain to ECD.895 to prevent formation of carbon and distortion of the float chamber can be introduced at the 1st. chassis in "C" series without scrap.
There is a decrease in Factory cost of 5d. per chassis but a Tool Cost of £16.0.0d. is involved.
The tool cost will not be recovered until 768 chassis have been produced.
