MYTH.
Steering Wheel.

We attach to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH's copy, the original of :-

PL.687 Steering Column Head.

The above scheme shows the steering wheel and controls for the Myth Car. The wheel is 17.000 dia. and has spring spokes with an alum centre portion with the spokes cast in position.

The horn button and dip switch are standard Lucas articles. The wheel centre portion is made to fit the Burman Douglas serrated end, particulars of which are given on PL.444.

We have made provision for a hand throttle control, the control lever we propose to make in spring steel. The steering wheel rim section is the shape that was agreed to before the War. G.Paulin had the actual sample, we have obtained the particulars from various drawings he had sent prior to hostilities.

The wheel will have a black cellulose finish, the spokes to have the agreed semi-dull chrome finish to match the rest of the interior body fittings.

We also attach to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/HH8s copy, the following drawings obtained from Messrs. Lucas, will be please return them to Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD{J. Draper - Frames} when the details are completed.
