To Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/AH. from Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} c. to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} c. to Bx. 750 Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames}5/SW.19.6.41. MYTH. Steering Wheel. When discussing the design of the Steering Column Head - drawing No. PL.687 with Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}, it was agreed that the hand throttle control was not needed, will you therefore please detail PL.687 omitting the hand throttle lever, knob and control tube, the quadrant should be detailed without provision for the serrated insert, and the letters OPEN and CLOSED. It was also decided to use Hexagon type spokes similar to those shown on PL.194 instead of the type drawn. We have promised to send a drawing of the wheel to Mr. Breedon by next week-end, will you therefore detail the wheel as soon as possible and let Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} have a blueprint. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/JD.{J. Draper - Frames} | ||
