The writer was particularly interested in examining these latter which appear to be nothing more or less than a form of brake which simply have the effect of checking spring movement in both directions. With all respect we cannot see how you can possibly consider that these can be as efficient as Houdailles, and although we can quite appreciate it may be some time before you could be in a position to fit Houdailles to the front, we should be very pleased indeed if you would allow us to send you a complete set exactly the same as we have fitted to the Prince of Wales's car, so that you can make your own careful tests and form your own opinion.
