FUEL PUMP.

Referring to Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JBD.{John B. Dixon - Fuel Systems}1/MH.{M. Huckerby}31.3.38. it might be useful to try a SZNCR. bush hardened from a cyanide bath working with a chromium plated spindle. The chromium should be deposited direct and .001" thick.

The bush should be held in the bath for about 20 minutes and cooled in air or oil. If the salt adhered the piece could be cleaned and re-heated in the carburizing end of an acetylene flame on a piece of wire, turned at right angles at end and then cooled by standing with the axis vertical on a cold plate.
