EO.6 Type Watford Magneto with enclosed
Armature Tunnel.

Referring to EFC1/T19.2.27 and By5/H21.2.27, I send you herewith copy of letter from North & Sons Ltd. dated 22nd inst. which has reference to 4 magnetos of the above-mentioned type which were despatched to us by Norths on the 16th inst. under their advice note No.143098 and upon receipt were handed to EFC. The magnetos are numbered:-

96129, 96135, 96128 & 96130

You will note from North's letter that all 4 magnetos have enclosed armature tunnels similar to magneto No.94201 already in our possession and all 4 magnetos are fitted with Bakelite pinions and aluminium wheels.

You will note Norths leave it to us to say whether these magnetos are quieter than the standard magnetos they supply to us. I hope it will be possible to determine this by an early date, also the question of whether Norths should change over to the enclosed armature tunnel.
