We have not ourselves used exactly the scheme you show in your letter, although we have used indicating lamps in the main circuit of the ordinary type of illuminated arrow indicator and we have also experimented with indicators fitted with contacts closing the circuit of the illuminating lamp, so that there would be no difficulty in adding an indicating lamp in this circuit, if desired, except that it would complicate the wiring to the indicator and would require, as far as I can see, two wires instead of one. However, I do not suppose the additional wire will be a serious matter on a car like the Rolls-Royce and Bently, and I will get some indicators made up on these lines for you to try out.
