X.1163b. KLAXON BUZZER HORN. BOSCH TYPE.

Particulars of the above horn, which was left by Mr. Gentry of the Klaxon Co. have been noted for comparison with the particulars given under our EFC2/AD22.9.30 for the Lucas and Bosch buzzer type horns. They are as follows :-

Length (fore and aft) 9 1/4"
Height 10 1/4"
Weight (complete) 4 lbs 12 ozs.
Coil resistance. 1.25 ohms.

As set by the makers, the current to break was 3.7 amperes and running current 1.6 amperes. The note produced was similar to that of the Bosch but not so loud. No further tests were done but the horn is now in AJL's hands for trial on cars.
