Leyland Continuation of a letter From LEYLAND MOTORS LIMITED, -2- The equipment referred to is manufactured at Koblenz, as you state. In view therefore, of the present position, that is, that the equipment we were proposing to supply would be of the Stabilus type, do you suggest that we should with-hold delivery of the equipment, or should we proceed on the basis that we will be prepared to supply this to you on a "No charge" basis until you have proved it satis-factory, as we do feel that on our present experience on double and single deck vehicles, as well as on the Ford car, there is a definite benefit obtained from the fitment of this gear. Yours faithfully, p.p. LEYLAND MOTORS LIMITED. M Pilkington Manager, Engineering Dept. | ||
