D.W.S. Jacks on Phantom III.

There have been quite a few failures of the Sessions jacking system on Phantom III chassis recently due to foreign matter under the valves in the pump unit. We are taking steps with the makers to prevent any foreign matter being left in the pump or rams during manufacture and they have asked us in turn to ensure that the pipe line and joints are blown clean before finally fixing them.

We think it worth while to carry out this request and suggest that an instruction to watch this point should be issued to the shops.
