G.W.H. 2I. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} IV. We have dismantled the Cylinder head & Valves. In the Specification, it gives the following :- I & 4 Exhaust Valves E 60.259 S/SLV 3 & 6 " " E 60.260 KE 965 2 & 5 " " E 60.260 KE Stellite Seats. N° I. The Valve seating was partially burnt, and very poor seating. N° 4. New Valve. N° 3 & 6. The Valve seating was pitted but could be considered good. N° 2 & 5. The Valve seating 100% condition. There is a Cylinder stud on this Engine which is stripped. We cannot tighten the Cylinder head down on this one stud. The Car came out with it in this condition. The one in question is the corner one rear of Engine, Carburetter side. Will you please send spare Exhaust Valves out for this Car.
