SIR NORMAN WATSON.
40/50 HP. CAR.

Replying to PN.{Mr Northey}1/WT.8.12.32.

We see no reason at all why we should make a special car for Sir Norman Watson. We maintain that our standard car is perfectly satisfactory for the conditions you have described.

It must be remembered that we have any amount of experience of Phantom cars running under cold conditions.

We are assuming that the car will be fitted with a spring in the thermostat and we do not see that anything else is required.

As regards the hand control, this means a special design. We assume that BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} will reply on this point.
