Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les4/KT.16.12.31; we attach herewith draft of a leaflet which we propose inserting in the No.VII Handbook - both Left and Right-hand. This will be added to the book for Chassis commencing 'N2' Series, i.e. there will be certain Chassis under this heading not fitted with the Hancock shoe in the rear brakes. We are informed by the Experimental Dept. however that this point is not material as the slightly increased clearance is preferable even without the Hancock shoe.
