| - 2 - CHASSIS ALTERATIONS (CONTD). G.2932/3. Hub Cap. This is a pre-War drawing for wood wheels, which requires revising and a dimension 2.000 cross flats to be added to the inside of the Hexagon portion. C.2929. Rear Hub. This is also a pre-War drawing which requires revising and bringing up to our present standard, as regards positions of dimensions and limits. G.4573. Outer Brake Strap. Limits on the dimension for the spring pin centres to be altered from ± 2 to ±10 G.1628 & G.763. First Motion Shafts for Repair Chassis. Diameter of spherical end to be altered from 1.885-2 to 1.905 +5 in figure 1. This is a Tool Office request to allow more metal for grinding purposes. G.3091/2. Rear Axle Box. Material to be altered from Mild Steel to Nickel Steel for Series N. & O.{Mr Oldham} Chassis, and Brinell Figures 255 to 277 to be added to the drawing. | ||
