Copy. C1/D25833. 25th August, 1933. Jack Barclay Esq., Messrs Jack Barclay Ltd, George Street, Hanover Square, W.1 Dear Sir, We are in receipt of your letter of yesterday's date and are interested to note your criticisms of the Bentley 3½ Litre Car. As regards the radiator, those that you have seen are temporary and this is receiving our attention. The wheel caps on the chassis are temporary to the extent that they will be engraved and the type of wheel fitted that we prefer, which is the "knock-off" type. The Bentley 3½ litre is not a racing car. As regards the magneto, we do not quite see your point as regards easy starting after a car has been left out all night. It is of course, easy to start the car on battery ignition at any time when it is on magneto, more particularly if it is necessary to swing the engine. Yours faithfully. For ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. (Sgd) W. Cowen. General Manager. | ||
